A native of Iraq, Nazar Harran received his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from Baghdad University in 1994. He immigrated to the United States with his family in 2001 and settled in Pennsylvania, where he studied Art and Graphic Design at Northampton Community College.
Nazar has worked as an art critic; graphic designer; television set designer; freelance photographer; art instructor; illustrator; and muralist. His work has been showcased in galleries and exhibitions in Jordan, Iraq, and the United States. Although Nazar has produced works in several mediums, he prefers to work in oils. Currently, Nazar and his family live in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he pursues a career as a painter.
