Bryan Ballinger – Forgotten Observations

Jennifer Ford Art proudly presents Bryan Ballinger’s solo-exhibition “Forgotten Observations” from March 10, 2016 to April 8, 2016, with an opening reception to the public on Thursday, March 10 from 6 to 9 pm. While Ballinger is widely known as an accomplished illustrator, this exhibition will feature over forty photographs from his “Florametry,” “Small Thoughts”, and “People” series.

Ballinger’s body of work has the uncanny ability to capture beauty and humor in the often overlooked aspects of life. By isolating the subjects in his photographs, Ballinger gives the viewer room to create their own narratives for his pieces. “My photography tries to slow things down a little and gets the viewer to look at what I’ve captured and take a moment to figure it out and think about it…. perhaps even infer something about it that I didn’t notice or intend… I am also fascinated by patterns, both natural/fractal and those created by people. My floral images reflect that and often work to combine the two.”
